Louise Santini
In direct contrast to Peter law, Louise Santini paints in a very loose painterly style, evident in the fluidity, transparency, and spontaneity of her work.
Louise considers herself to be a “Plein Air” artist, and often paints historic landmarks in western Quebec capturing architecture unique to the region, or country scenes of the Charlevoix region where she lived as a child. When painting outdoors becomes inaccessible Louis enjoys painting nudes throughout the winter months.
An art teacher herself since 1999, Louis Santini has studied under M. Jacques Hebert (founder of the Societe Canadienne de L’aquarelle) amongst others.
