Andrea Lavoie

Andrea is a great gal and a wonderful artist!   More recognized for her sports art, Andrea is quite versatile and paints passionate landscapes and portraits with persuasive textures and a brilliant pallet.

I could not describe her latest work any more fluently than her own biography illustrates, “The artist believes that sport with all its complexity is beautiful and is an art form in itself. Her passion for sport and creative use of bold colors and textures allow Andrea the freedom to capture the energy, speed, mood, and movement of the subject”

With competitive sport comes the risk of injury; Unfortunately, Andrea suffered a serious concussion in a mid ice collision while playing - high paced elite level Ringette. Andrea is in her third year of recovery and is slowly starting to paint again. On behalf of her fans everywhere we wish her continued success in her recovery.
